Windham Hospital, part of Hartford HealthCare, seeks a Licensed Crisis Clinician to provide psychiatric assessments in the Emergency Department and coordinate care for behavioral health and substance use needs. Collaboration with ED teams and community providers is essential to ensure coordinated care.

The role requires a CT-licensed LCSW/LMFT/LPC, a Master’s degree, and 2+ years in a psychiatric setting; bilingual Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

• CT license LCSW, LMFT, or LPC required. LCSW preferred.
• Master's degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy required.
• Two years' experience in a psychiatric setting required; four years preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments within the Emergency Department.
• Coordinate care for patients with behavioral health and substance use needs.
• Respond to crisis calls and conduct advocacy, referrals, and discharge planning.
• Work with patients’ community providers to ensure continuity of care.
