Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Courier to join our environmental science team in Ohio. You will play a key role in the safe pickup, transport, and delivery of environmental samples and related materials, ensuring data integrity for our laboratory operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to follow procedures, maintain documentation accurately, and communicate effectively with internal teams and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to maintain required licenses.
• Knowledge of safe driving and sample transport principles.
• Ability to learn and follow organizational policies and transportation protocols.
• Comfort using basic computer applications and maintaining documentation accurately.
• Strong communication with internal teams and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism and discretion when interacting with others.
• Comfort operating a company vehicle with GPS/telematics tracking (no audio).

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, and materials.
• Review, complete, and process documents and databases for sample transport.
• Prepare assigned vehicle for daily operations, including safety checks.
• Provide support to staff and management related to sample transport procedures.
• Research issues and propose solutions to improve processes and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations; escalate issues as needed.
• Contribute to team efficiency with input and collaboration.
• Promote a positive, customer-focused work environment in line with Pace® values.
