Equiliem is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for a local contract in Leesburg, New Jersey. The position runs 40 hours per week with evening shifts and a start date of 10/26/2026 for 52 weeks. This role focuses on ambulatory care for inmates within a correctional facility.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and be licensed to practice in New Jersey. CPR certification and a valid driver’s license are required, with a BSN preferred. Local travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• License to practice in the State of New Jersey.
• CPR Certification required.

• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect nursing care to meet physiological, psychosocial and emotional needs of the resident-patient including adolescents (13–17 years), adults (18 to 64 years) and their family within the correctional system.
• Performs assessments of resident-patient in various settings such as initial intake area, health care unit for sick call, emergency situations in housing, chronic care clinics and infirmary.
• Works with health care professionals and security officers in a correctional environment.
• Identifies inmate-centered goals and nursing objectives and implements prescribed interventions and solutions.
• Plans nursing care by identification of resident-patient needs based on assessments; makes referrals and initiates care per policies.
• As team leader or charge nurse, delegates duties to other health care team members.
