Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a dependable Corporate Office Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for associates and leadership at the State College, PA corporate office. This role primarily operates during evening hours, starting around 4:00 PM, with potential for later or overnight shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, office, hotel, or housekeeping cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to safely operate standard cleaning equipment and use cleaning products appropriately.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion while working in an office environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive cleaning activities for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, conference rooms, hallways, common areas, break rooms, and other assigned areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and clean floors and carpets.
• Dust and wipe down desks, furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces as appropriate.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and other fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and maintain break room and kitchen areas, including countertops, sinks, tables, and appliances.
• Replenish restroom, break room, and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Clean glass, doors, windows, and other surfaces as assigned.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, spills, or areas requiring additional attention.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in an organized and safe manner.
• Follow proper procedures for the use, storage, and handling of cleaning products and equipment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful demeanor while working in the Corporate Office.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of associates, leadership, documents, and information encountered while performing cleaning duties.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties within established timeframes and maintain consistent standards of cleanliness.
• Perform additional cleaning and related duties as assigned by management.
