Job summary

Allegro Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team and deliver exceptional dining experiences for residents. This full-time PM shift role runs 11:00am–8:30pm with starting pay at $21 per hour.

Responsibilities include cooking according to menus and dietary needs, maintaining a clean kitchen, assisting with prep and plating, and monitoring inventory. ServSafe certification is required to ensure safety and quality across all meals.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess good time management skills and a keen awareness of safety.
• Must possess current manager’s level food handler permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with menus, dietary guidelines, and resident preferences.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitation-compliant kitchen environment.
• Assist with food prep, portioning, plating, and timely meal service.
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering and storage as needed.
• Collaborate with the culinary and dining team to deliver a consistently outstanding dining experience.
• Follow all ServSafe and food safety protocols throughout every shift.
