Job summary

Majestic Care of Cedar Village is seeking a Cook for 11am-7pm to prepare nutritious meals as ordered and ensure foods are prepared and served safely. The role operates under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition and Food Services in Mason, OH.

Responsibilities include portion-controlled meal prep, proper temperature checks, and maintaining sanitation and inventory while collaborating with residents, families and staff to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in large quantity food preparation preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and serve using portion control directives.
• Thaw, store, and prep foods in proper times and temperatures.
• Follow menus and complete pre-preparation.
• Review daily production with the Director of Nutrition and Food Services.
• Safely operate and sanitize kitchen equipment after each use.
• Record meal temperatures and daily cooler/freezer temps.
• Maintain cleaning and inventory records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
