Job summary

Dawson Manor Health & Rehab is hiring for an Evening Full-Time Cook role. The position offers a starting pay range of $15.75 to $18.15 per hour with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operate and maintain instructions, and write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepares meals per dietician-created menus for each meal.
• Operates kitchen equipment (mixer, slicer, oven, steamer).
• Keeps surfaces clean and stores unused foods after shift.
• Assists in meal service and tray-line operations with proper portions.
• Monitors meals for dietary orders and substitutions as required.
• Follows infection control and safety procedures at all times.
