InnVentures is seeking a Cook for Residence Inn Seattle South Renton to create memorable dining experiences and support guest satisfaction. You will plan, prepare and present quality meals for hotel guests and catered events, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Previous food handling or prep/line experience is required.
• Some locations may require prior cook experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology.
• Stand and move around for an entire shift; lift at least 25 pounds.
• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Permit.
• Flexible schedule; willing to work morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare various food items and meals for the restaurant and catered functions.
• Oversee food cost and portion control without sacrificing quality.
• Creatively accommodate special requests from guests.
• Ensure food deliveries are timely, accurate and meet presentation standards.
• Assist with quality, cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and kitchen.
• Assist with inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
