Job summary

Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOC Tech) is seeking a part-time instructor to lead the new ACD Construction Management Academy. The role focuses on practical, hands-on training for adults pursuing careers or advancement in construction management.

Candidate should bring 5+ years in construction management and the ability to teach adults; a degree is not required. OSHA 30 or equivalent experience is preferred. Evening courses and ongoing curriculum development are expected.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction certification required or substituted with industry experience.
• 5+ years in construction management, supervision, or related fields.
• Experience on commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction practices and coordination.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adult learners.

Responsibilities

• Help develop curriculum, course content, and hands-on activities.
• Teach evening, short-term construction management courses.
• Provide practical, industry-based instruction.
• Use real-world examples and hands-on activities.
• Support students in developing construction management skills.
• Collaborate with the tech center and industry partners.
