Job summary

CBRE Government and Defense Services is seeking a GDS Commercial Cleaner to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas during the 5:00 PM–9:00 PM shift. Responsibilities include mopping, sweeping, trash disposal, and stocking supplies.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years in facilities or custodial work; physical stamina and reliability are essential to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in facilities, maintenance, custodial, or a similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
