CBRE Government and Defense is seeking a Commercial Cleaner for the evening shift in Sterling, VA. The role involves basic cleaning duties across high-traffic areas, including mopping, sweeping, and trash removal, with an emphasis on maintaining cleanliness and safety in assigned spaces.

The position is part-time with a 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM shift. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience; specific certifications are not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily cleaning support to high-traffic areas of the building designated by the supervisor.
• Stock bathrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, and soap.
• Sweep, vacuum, wipe, and mop storage units, hallways, restrooms, elevators, etc.
• Dust furniture, walls, and equipment including moving and rearranging furniture.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
