Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time evening shift at Clifton Springs location. The role supports short term rehab in a hospital-connected unit, with a 3pm-11pm schedule, 37.5 hours per week, and a signing bonus up to $4,500.

Responsibilities include personal care, feeding, mobility support, and collaboration with the nursing team to ensure quality resident care across diverse cases, including vent and dementia patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age 18.
• Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows the resident's care card for daily personal care needs, treatments and therapies.
• Follows up with the nurse for clarification of information and direction.
• Gives personal care to residents: bathing, toileting, feeding, transferring, and ambulating.
• Promote resident's involvement and independence to the extent the resident is able.
• Assists residents with personal services: laundry, room upkeep, TV/radio, reading/writing letters.
• Transports residents throughout the facility as needed.
• Floats throughout the facility when necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
