Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Roanoke Rapids is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will perform ADLs, monitor vital signs, assist with transfers, and support a compassionate environment in line with facility policies.

This full-time evening position (3pm–11pm) includes occasional weekend work and a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition programs, and more to support staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident room.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Turn and position residents, and support resident rights and choices.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned areas.
• Answer call lights promptly and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff; perform other duties as assigned.
