Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance in a long-term care setting. You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse and support basic health care needs, including vital signs, hygiene, and daily meals.

The role requires a CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or enrollment in a training program with facility-provided certification.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and be enrolled or certified within four months if needed.
• High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent).
• Satisfactory completion of annual competency testing and continuing education hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision.
• Assist with transferring, mobility, range of motion, and dining support.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse; maintain infection prevention measures.
