Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry (Upon Hire) required.
• Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter within 180 days.
• EFRC (Emergency First Responder Choking) required within 90 days upon hire and renewed every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living and resident comfort.
• Maintain resident dignity during care and support routines.
• Observe changes in residents and report to the nurse.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers.
• Support dining, nutrition, and sanitation procedures.
