Job summary

Amery Hospital & Clinic, part of HealthPartners, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant/Mental Health Technician to join our Behavioral Health team. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help maintain a therapeutic milieu for patients and families.

The role is a .5 FTE evening shift (Thursdays and every other weekend, 8-hour shifts) with benefits including medical and dental insurance, 401k with match, disability coverage and tuition reimbursement,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must maintain current CNA certification.
• Two years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Measures and records patient vital signs, input and output.
• Acts as patient advocate and monitors patient behavior.
• Maintains a therapeutic milieu environment and leads activities.
• Performs clerical tasks and assists with unit operations.
• Ensures a clean, safe and organized environment for patients.
