Job summary

Essentia Living Center in Fosston, Minnesota seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care on the evening shift (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm). The role requires every other weekend and a holiday rotation, with a 0.9 FTE schedule averaging 36 hours per week.

The CNA will assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, safety, and reporting changes in resident conditions to the nurse on duty, while maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program.
• Current registration on applicable state nursing assistant registry or obtain within 4 months of hire/transfer date.
• Ability to work evening/night shifts and weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to skilled nursing facility residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene and nutritional needs.
• Recognize changes in resident condition and promptly report to shift nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Recognize and prevent abuse of vulnerable adults in care.
