Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living LLC in Milford, CT is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver high-quality care to residents in a warm, home-like setting. This full-time role 3pm-11pm, Tuesday through Saturday, emphasizes daily living assistance and respectful, person-centered care.

You will document care, report changes to staff, engage residents in activities, and support their physical and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid CNA license required.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Document care provided and report changes in health or behavior to staff.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive quality care.
• Perform other duties as needed.
