Job summary

Watsonville-Nursing-Center in Watsonville, CA is seeking a dedicated CNA for a full-time PM shift. The role delivers routine daily nursing care, following assessment plans and complying with federal, state, and local standards.

You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive compassionate, respectful care in a calm environment. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, feeding, mobility, and reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion CNA training from accredited school.
• Valid CNA certificate number required.

Responsibilities

• Answering call lights.
• Provide nursing care in privacy.
• Make residents comfortable (bed, water).
• Assist in feeding residents.
• Help residents with grooming, shower or sponge bath.
• Proper lifting and transitioning residents.
• Help residents sit, stand and walk.
• Transport residents to dining area and back.
• Report changes to Nurse Supervisor.
• Protect resident files and HIPAA confidentiality.
• Follow facility policies incl. not disclosing IDs/passwords.
• Follow Infection and Control policies.
• Report exposures to blood or hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.
