Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing with tasks: answering call bells promptly, stocking rooms and carts.
• Assists patients with ADLs, morning care, evening care, and prepares unit for admissions, transfers or discharges; obtains vital signs and blood sugars.
• Prepares and assists patients with meals and nourishment; offers drinks and assistance.
• Reports abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Promotes patient rights and confidentiality; documents in EMR/Point Click Care.
