Boston Medical Center (BMC) is hiring a Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role supports patients across age groups, ensuring comfort, privacy, and respectful treatment.

Requirements include a Massachusetts CNA license or enrollment in accredited nursing school with BLS. High school diploma is required; previous nursing assistant experience is preferred. Schedule is 32 hours with evenings and every other weekend at BMC South.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with staff and patients is required.
• Must be able to prioritize multiple requests to ensure timeliness and provide exceptional patient care.
• Must possess the skills to be compassionate, empathetic and responsive to patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care activities under the direct supervision of the RN.
• Addresses personal needs and comforts of patients across ages, while respecting privacy and confidentiality.
