Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) in Brockton, MA is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for evening shifts and every other weekend. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, you will perform direct patient care activities for personal needs and comforts, addressing the needs of patients from infancy to the elderly while responding to hearing, sight, language, and other barriers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a nursing assistant or be a nursing student in matriculation and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing I & II.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist with personal needs and comforts.
• Address diverse patient needs across age groups (infant to elderly) while accommodating impairments and barriers.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
