Job summary

Good Samaritan Society - Mandan Sunset is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) for part-time evening shifts. The NA will provide resident-centered care, assist with daily living activities, and support a compassionate, faith-based care team in a 128-bed long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, meals, and mobility; recording vital signs and changes to the RN; and ensuring safety and comfort for residents in Mandan, ND.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16; prior CNA experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification.
• Annual continuing education requirement of 12 hours; maintain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs; communicate changes to nurse in charge.
• Assist with meals and dining; support resident nutrition and hydration.
• Perform transfers using proper techniques and equipment; assist ROM exercises.
• Document resident interactions and care outcomes; support infections control policies.
