Job summary

Good Samaritan Society – Mandan Sunset is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) for the 2:00pm to 10:15pm shift, including every other weekend and rotating holidays. This full-time role supports residents with daily living activities and basic nursing care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include bathing, feeding, vital signs, documentation, and assisting with transfers. The facility emphasizes compassionate care, privacy, and a faith-based, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining certification via endorsement.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintains required continuing education credits annually (12 hours).

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming and meal support.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility using proper techniques.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs and maintain care plans.
