Job summary

Felician Sisters of North America in Buffalo, NY is seeking dedicated CNA/Caregiver to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters. This casual afternoon position (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm) offers a supportive convent environment and a benefits package with various employee perks.

You will assist with daily living activities, document care, and work with nursing staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate care for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current or lapsed Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification on file with the state is a plus but not required.
• Long-term resident care or home care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to elder sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
• Document care and communicate with residents, family, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to meet ongoing resident needs according to established standards.
