Gorham House in Gorham, ME is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time, evening shifts 2:30PM–11:00PM. You will care for residents under supervision, take vital signs, assist daily activities, and support the care plan with a compassionate team.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ year clinical experience, CNA licensure as required by state, and good English communication. Benefits included and DailyPay available.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration with colleagues to provide resident care.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height, weight, and fluid intake/output.
• Recognize abnormal changes and report to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and activities of daily living.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents.
• Provide skin care to residents.
• Contribute to resident assessment and plan of care.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Promote and protect resident rights, independence and dignity.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity.
