Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required; 6 months of CNA or clinical experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work with elderly or ill residents.
• Good health and emotional stability; able to handle difficult situations.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties per facility policies and safety rules.
• Make resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to administer care.
• Verify resident identification before care or meals.
• Make beds and keep bedside areas clean and orderly.
• Report missing ID bands to admissions coordinator immediately.
• Assist with water service and feeding as needed.
• Follow directions from Charge Nurse and supervisors.
