Park Meadows in Gainesville, FL is seeking caring CNAs to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team for 3pm–11pm shifts, full- and part-time. The facility offers robust benefits and a supportive work environment focused on compassionate resident care.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, vital signs, feeding assistance, and ensuring comfort and safety while collaborating with licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• At least one year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and work well within a team environment.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care) of residents daily and as needed.
• Change bed linen and maintain supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Observe residents and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Participate in data collection for MDS and plan of care; provide input to nurses.
• Provide adequate hydration to residents according to individual needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Keep accurate records of food intake and output.
• Ensure proper ventilation, temperature, light and noise controls.
• Take measurements (TPR, BP, weights) as directed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and assist with needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
