Job summary

Terrace Health & Rehab Center in Gainesville, FL is seeking caring CNAs to join our team. This full-time role pays $16-$17/hr with up to a $1.00 shift differential for evening shifts and a 3pm-11pm schedule.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from the state of Florida.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• At least one (1) year Skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (i.e., grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.) of residents daily and as needed.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Assist in preparing residents for meals and transporting to dining room.
• Keep an accurate record of food intake and output, as directed.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to Charge Nurse.
• Assist in data collection for MDS and care planning.
• Provide adequate hydration and assist with feeding as needed.
• Support orientation and training of other staff when requested.
