Qualifications

• Connecticut CNA certification in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in senior care/skilled nursing.
• PCC proficient.
• No history of patient/resident abuse as reported on the State Registry.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
• Demonstrates patience, professionalism, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward residents and their support networks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
• Attendance is a MUST and two call-outs may lead to termination.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care per facility policies and standards (ADLs, making beds, turning/repositioning, vital signs).
• Complete required documentation and promptly report accidents, injuries, or changes in condition.
• Answer call lights and communicate changes to nursing staff promptly.
