Job summary

Essex Meadows in Connecticut is seeking hospitality-focused CNAs to provide one-on-one care for residents in Assisted Living. Per diem positions are available, with overnight shifts: 8 PM–8 AM. The role emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Requirements include CT CNA certification and 6–12 months of CNA experience, plus ability to communicate in English. Part-time and per diem roles may include benefits and pre-employment screening as required.

Qualifications

• Current CT Certified Nurse Aide certification.
• Minimum of six months to one year of CNA experience.
• Ability to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Cares for resident personal hygiene and ADL functioning.
• Encourages independence under nursing supervision.
• Supports participation in facility activities and safe transportation and escorting as needed.
• Maintains a clean, safe resident environment and reports needs.
• Documents observations and changes in resident condition timely.
• Follows facility policies and completes required training.
