Job summary

Masonicare Corp is seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Wallingford, CT team. The CNA will provide basic nursing care under licensed nurse supervision, assist with meals, transfers, and activities of daily living, and help residents maintain dignity and comfort.

The position features an evening shift, 32 hours per week, with weekend rotation as indicated. Candidates must hold CT CNA certification and CPR certification to apply.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.).
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Assist residents with meals and nourishment.
• Assist with transfers, ambulations, bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming.

The Masonicare Health Center is a 260-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Wallingford, CT.

The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Follow treatment plan that was designed to meet the appropriate age, needs and abilities of each resident/patient including assisting with meals and nourishment's, transferring using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulations, bathing, toileting and dressing and grooming.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide - C.N.A. and CPR certification.
