Job summary

Voyage Long Term Care in Oklahoma City is seeking a licensed Certified Medication Aide to assist with patient medication administration under the supervision of the attending physician and nursing leadership. Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent.
• Must be a licensed Certified Medication Aide per state requirements.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies governing medication administration to residents.
• Report medication errors and complete error reports as needed.
• Participate in care plan meetings and QA/QAPI programs.
• Prepare and administer medications accurately as ordered.
• Document vital signs and monitor resident responses.
• Restock medication inventories and manage stock as directed.
• Attend required continuing education and orientation programs.
