Job summary

Northbrook Rehabilitation Center in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications and support resident care. You will work closely with nursing staff to ensure medications are delivered accurately and on time.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Iowa CMA certification.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as CMA in accordance with state regulations and physician orders.
• Observe residents for medication effectiveness and potential adverse reactions.
• Accurately document medication administration and report concerns promptly.
• Communicate resident condition changes to nursing staff.
• Follow medication safety, infection control, and documentation standards.
• Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks as assigned.
