Care Initiatives seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate care team across Iowa. Full-Time & Part-Time Evening shifts available with competitive hourly rate plus shift differential.

Responsibilities include assisting daily living activities, administering medications, monitoring health, and providing emotional support to residents in a safe, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in the state of Iowa or ability to activate.
• Medication Aide certification valid in Iowa or ability to activate.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating and passing medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment.
• Monitor health and conduct routine vital checks.
• Interact with residents, families and the healthcare team.
• Encourage recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
