Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Kearney, NE is hiring a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, vital signs, and mobility, while supporting a positive dining experience.

You will administer medications as delegated, document care outcomes, and communicate changes to the nurse in charge.

Qualifications

• GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age 18.
• State CNA/CMA certifications required per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care outcomes and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with transfers, mobility, and range of motion exercises.
• Support dining needs and assist with meals.
• Participate in wellness and recreational programs.
