Care Initiatives in Iowa seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to support daily living activities, administer medications, and monitor resident health across 40+ communities in the state. This full-time evening shift offers competitive pay and a shift differential.

The role requires an active Iowa CNA and a valid Medication Aide certification (or the ability to activate). You will collaborate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to promote dignity and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa or ability to activate certification.
• Valid certification as a Medication Aide in Iowa or ability to activate.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and passing medications.
• Deliver emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive environment.
• Provide health monitoring by administering medications and conducting routine vital checks.
• Interact and communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Encourage and facilitate resident recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance health and daily routines.
• Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
