Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our compassionate nursing teams across Iowa’s skilled nursing communities. This full-time role includes day and evening shifts with a competitive hourly rate and shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (Iowa) or ability to activate.
Medication Aide certification valid in Iowa or ability to activate.
Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
Strong commitment to resident care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
Deliver medications per care plan and ensure accuracy.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Monitor health with routine vital checks and report changes to the care team.
Engage residents in recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance daily life.
Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a clean, safe environment.
