Job summary

Three Bears Alaska is seeking a friendly cashier to greet customers, process sales, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment in Wasilla, Alaska. You will handle cash, operate the register, and assist with stocking and closing procedures to ensure a smooth daily operation.

Role requires excellent customer service, precise cash handling, and adherence to safety guidelines, including propane safety when assisting propane customers.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash and processing payments.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and scanning items.
• Ability to assist with stocking and merchandising tasks.
• Knowledge of safety procedures at checkout and in store.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service throughout shifts.
• Ring up purchases and process cash, checks, EBT, credit, and debit payments.
• Monitor merchandise at the register to ensure accurate inventory.
• Close the store at end of night and complete closing duties.
