Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to operate cash register and handle payments accurately.
• Experience with scanning items and POS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and answer questions with a courteous attitude.
• Ring up purchases and process payments including cash, checks, EBT, credit and debit.
• Monitor merchandise at the register and ensure accurate inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Assist with bagging/boxing and propane tank service where applicable.
• Follow safety and security procedures at all times.
