Advocate Health is seeking a licensed pharmacist to oversee pharmaceutical care, evaluate literature, and design therapy regimens within a hospital setting.

You will counsel patients and caregivers on pharmacotherapy, adverse effects, and proper medication usage, while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations. The role includes teaching and mentorship of pharmacy learners and involvement in formulary management.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in pharmacy from an ACPE-accredited school or NABP FPGEC.
• Licensed in the state(s) of practice or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification may be required.
• Credentialing and privileging required.
• No experience required; hospital experience preferred.

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, evaluates literature, and designs medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on pharmacotherapy, adverse effects, and proper use.
• Designs, monitors, and evaluates patient-specific regimens per evidence.

• Prepares, dispenses, and oversees storage and handling of medications.
• Serves as a preceptor for students and residents.
• Mentors, orients, and trains staff and evaluates performance.
• Directs workflow and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate care across patient populations.
