Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Biological science or Medical Technology.
- 1+ year of clinical laboratory testing experience OR MLS degree.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred; CLIA standards may apply.
Responsibilities
- Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing.
- Perform routine and complex procedures per SOP.
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation.
- Make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
- Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate test results to deliver quality patient care.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Replenish testing bench supplies as needed.
- Assist with processing of specimens when required.
- Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE.
