Job summary

KA Recruiting Inc. is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to support timely and accurate diagnostic reporting under the supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor.

The role includes bench testing across Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and PCR, with data entry into EMR systems and adherence to quality controls. Qualified candidates hold an active NYS Clinical Technologist license, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and a BS degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Clinical Technologist license mandatory.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• BS Degree or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bench technology procedures for processing patient samples in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and PCR testing.
• Evaluate patient history in conjunction with diagnostic findings.
• Execute and record quality controls, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Perform and document routine equipment maintenance and operations.
• Input patient data into computer systems for electronic medical records and retrieve relevant information.
• Ensure proper disposal and documentation of hazardous waste.
• Perform other assigned duties.
