Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Basic Science or related field.
• New York State licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist or as appropriate to area of assignment.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience or training in the area noted.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform routine and complex laboratory tests and procedures.
• Follow in-process quality control procedures and record data.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Troubleshoot basic instrumentation and methodologies.
• Maintain adequate supplies at the workstation.
• Ensure quality control and assurance activities are conducted.
• Follow infection control practices and procedures.
