Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician for the Post Intensive Care Unit-II at RWJ Somerset, per diem evening shift. The role supports RNs with hands-on patient care, vital signs, mobility, and activities of daily living.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, a current AHA BLS certification, and CNA experience or nursing program clinical exposure. Per diem schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vital signs, mobility and personal care.
• Monitor patient conditions and support care plans with RNs.
• Document patient information in the EHR with confidentiality.
• Apply infection control protocols for patient safety.
• Communicate with patients, families and healthcare providers.
