Job summary

ABM is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at Gulfstream, coordinating daily tasks and guiding staff in the absence of a manager. The role involves operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties to keep buildings safe and clean.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of lead or supervisory experience and customer service exposure, with flexibility for a 3pm–11:30pm shift. ABM offers benefits and a veteran-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED/college degree not required
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience
• Preferred: Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management; document client communications.
• Assist with daily and weekly work scheduling.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged or out-of-service items.
• Coordinate additional service requests as needed.
• Ensure job quality and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for employees and subcontractors.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
