Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a General Cleaner in St. Louis, MO to maintain cleanliness of assigned areas during the 2:30pm-11pm shift. Duties include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation, trash removal, and window cleaning, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires reliability and a team-oriented approach; previous cleaning experience is a plus, but training is provided. A high school diploma is preferred, and candidates must pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Previous cleaning experience a plus but training available.
• Background check required.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpet, and clean restrooms.
• Polish windows and entry glass, desks, walls, and fixtures.
• Empty trash and recycling, and handle general upkeep of the facility.
• Adhere to safety and cleanliness standards and follow custodial supervisor instructions.
