Job summary

HES Facilities is hiring General Cleaners in the St. Louis area to maintain daily cleanliness and facility upkeep. Typical duties include sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows, restrooms, and organizing storage areas. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available with pay at $16 per hour.

Shifts include Mon - Fri 12PM to 8:30PM for full-time and 4PM to 8:30PM for part-time, with opportunities to support various cleaning tasks and special events as directed by management.

Qualifications

• General Cleaners are responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of all assigned areas.
• Must be able to perform a combination of cleaning duties to maintain daily upkeep.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and vacuum.
• Dust and Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns and empty trash cans.
• Clean restrooms, plunging sinks and toilets and replenish supplies.
• Complete work requests and notify management of needed repair work.
• Organize and supply custodial closets as needed.
• Move, remove, and/or set up furniture, furnishings, supplies, equipment and any other items inside specified rooms for special functions as directed.
• Additional job-related duties as required by the supervisor.
