Job summary

Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital is seeking a Circulating Staff Nurse in the Perioperative unit. The RN will manage patient care using the Watson Model, coordinate with the care team, and ensure high-quality, family-centered care within the perioperative setting.

The role requires a nursing degree (BSN preferred), CA RN license, BLS/ACLS, and strong communication skills. Experienced in perioperative care or surgical tech background considered, with emphasis on patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Sciences degree in nursing preferred.
• CNOR preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Utilize nursing process to assess and plan patient care.
• Prioritize and coordinate care with timely communication to physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to hospital standards.
• Document care concisely in IPOC and follow unit policies.
• Participate in discharge planning and care transitions.
