Job summary

Calvary Chapel in Viera, FL, is seeking a full-time Custodian to maintain a safe, clean campus from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. This role supports day-to-day maintenance at the Viera campus and requires 40 hours per week with local travel as needed.

Applicants must treat Calvary Chapel as home church, demonstrate reliability, and be able to lift up to 35 lbs, work in dusty or wet conditions, and perform routine cleaning tasks and light maintenance under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able and willing to work in dusty, dirty, wet, hot and/or cold environmental conditions.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and work safely with ladders.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to read and understand basic instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash cans and dispose of rubbish in proper containers.
• Replenish bathroom supplies and maintain restrooms.
• Clean windows, vents, light fixtures, walls and doors.
• Finish and strip floors; clean carpets and floors with appropriate equipment.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop and dust; assist with equipment cleaning.
• Help in setup/teardown of rooms for church events.
• Respond to custodial emergencies as needed.
• Travel to other campuses when required.
